I didn't know that. If he feels that stongly about Britishness then why would he join the British army and fight in the name of a British Queen? I'm not saying he's right, i'm just saying what he might have thought.

I'll give him his do's for being anti-war. But to not stand up to the Nazi party nocks your credibility in my view. Regardless of what else you do. It was a minor rebuttal anyway. If you want to be Welsh not British. no problem from me at all.

Now that does make sense. And it definitely had a negative effect on his credibility and rightly so. So the english goverment played massively on that.
However when Wales finally returns to full independance, history will show Gynfor Evans to be the major force in bringing that about.
