BLUEBIRDS OF CARDIFF FC

Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:17 pm

Im sick and tired of this.

Lets set up the Bluebirds of Cardiff FC. Lets enter the league and do it our own way.

Come on guys, look how many other sides did it... :ayatollah:

I would back a new club if it emerged but im not going to disrupt Cardiff City FC or protest, its falling on deaf ears just as Salzburgs did.

The best way is to form our own team and try and become successful and steal some of their fans. That will hit them more. Even if we just go in the Welsh league with the backing a Cardiff club could get it'd be great. get into the Champions League, etc.

Obviously the money wouldn't be the same but we wouldn't be in debt, we'd have our own club to care for in the league of wales and proud.

Lets do it. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Bluebirds of Cardiff FC.

Also, have trials just like FC United would get youngster involved from the local area to play for the team. Lets make it a community thing, get the youth involved, do something good for the people of Cardiff and the Valleys. Im sure there are plenty of youngsters in the area wanting to prove themselves even if it is in the lower league system.

A nice blue kit with just a bluebird as our badge. Get local sponsorship deals. :ayatollah:

Great idea--

Why not call our new team KCB Utd

Play home games at the athletic stadium --join the league of Wales
and then onward into the Champions league

All we need is about 50 grand to get it started

With the facilities available in Cardiff to use I think we could get a good team up and running. Im sure there will be people willing to back such a thing and it could be done on a community and donation basis. Steady growth at a maintainable rate. it can be done.

You are bound to get backing from governmental areas especially if you're showing a willingness to get youth involved in sports and football you will get backing and sponsorships.

A community driven club just as Bilbao have. They have found talent in their area but we have 1/3rd of the population and even if we could find 1/3rd of the population from cardiff and the valleys that'll be good standing and getting youngsters from cardiff on the map.

Its a great idea IMO. We would just need people who are influential already to start it up just as FC United's did. :ayatollah:

Come on Annis, imagine OWNING Bluebirds of Cardiff FC and seeing that team in the CL qualifying rounds.

INVASION OF THE BLUEBIRDS :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What are you chatting? Over £85,000 was raised for the Keenor statue.

Im pretty sure we'd get a lot of backing around the world from those against modern football. To start up im sure we would.

The thing is, rather than create a plan of action, our fans would rather just moan and protest and disrupt.

You really have got them there, so true. At the end of the day it is all about supporting our team whatever colour they play in.

i think the main problem is that most people have full-time jobs and no time to get involved with a plan like this unfortunately :ayatollah:

Inter Cardiff and even Grange Quinns were there but as they were completing against CCFC during the nomal season they had no chance of getting support. However a summer league would bring in far more interest.

Welsh League will never play in the summer as it'd cause havoc with the CL/Europa system.

Ireland even do it which have seen their attendances raise and some say that it was the very reason why Shamrock Rovers was the first Irish team to qualify for he Europa League group stages last season.

I think the Welsh Fa are reall missing an oppurtunity here and Summer football would be a real boost to attendances. Not like them to miss the boat.
