Nail your colours to the mast

Thu Jul 26, 2012 9:51 am

I've been intrigued by the rebranding and colour change and can see arguments for both sides, I'd like to think that if it happened at Swansea we would retain our 100 year old identity, where are your supporters groups in all this, where is the cohesive message from the Supporters Trust, Supporters Club, 1927 club, Valley Rams, Ambassadors KCB, and any other factions within your club, can't help thinking that there are too many leaders and there in lies your problem.

I don't feel anything as my company was one of those, we all voted to accept 5p in the pound or see the club go bust, easy decision

Good post. Divided we fall. My focus is firmly with matters on the pitch, but we ALL have a massive part to play.

The way things are at our club at the moment, i think times could be "difficult", in due course. :(

you would say that your a jack and the thought of this re branding paying off and cardiff city becoming a big club probably kills you, so yeh you would think going against the re branding sticking to tradition and plummeting down the leagues with no money would be a better option wouldnt you

This is what happens with big clubs that have a huge fan base. I shouldn't worry that it will affect you.

There isnt REALLY an argument

the vast majority of City fans hate the rebranding, we are the Bluebirds. But again, the
VAST MAJORITY realise there is f**k all we can do about it. We live with the very realistic
hope that Tan will see the error of his ways, see kit/merchandise sales drop, and change back
next season.

About 100 have decided to protest. Not knocking them, free country. But the reason the VAST
MAJORITY are putting up with it are for the sound reasons above.

A few angry men apparently turned up at a poorly attended protest meeting the other night and
words were exchanged. THATS all thats happened.

Thats all that will ever happen, thats it. done.

Cardiff City supporters are gutted at the rebranding, but nothing can be done. Not yet. Time will tell.
