why i love cardiff city, why do you love cardiff city ?

i dont post on this board often, i dont know to many people on here, i played in the aamb v ccmb game but for thosewho do know me know i love cardiff city football club

i started supporting city in the first season chopra played for us, i had never been to a football game before that season. i remember a handfull of us leaving for cardiff on the ebbw vale train, it was such an exciting day, even though we where at home to colchester, it felt like an fa cup final day for me, i was like a child at christmas.

we arrived in cardiff and after a little pub crawl made our way to ninian park, we were off to the grange end

i had heard loads of stories about the infamous grange end and couldnt wait to stand on there, i couldnt wait to be part of a brilliant history.

from the moment i walked through the turnstile i loved it, the sound of men of harlech blasting, the chanting, the passion, it ot me, i was hooked.

"you are my cardiff, my only cardiff, you make me happy when skies are grey !!! you never notice how much i love you, so please dont take my cardiff away !!"

even though the game ended 0 0 it was one of the best days of my life, i will always rememeber why i fell inlove with cardiff, after that i started wearing the clobber. stone island, paul smith, paul and shark, lacoste, armani. I felt like my life had been changed. my taste in music started to change. Out with dancy, trance music, in with the classics, cardiff city fc wasnt just a football club that played on the weekends, it was a way of life.

why do you love cardiff ?

To be honest with you, I dunno why I love the city. Cardiff have always been me family team, and when I went to my first game, walsall home I think, I loved them ever since.

I hate the northern inbred scum before the jacks. I think you can guess which team.

Because i was born and bred in Canton could see the floodlights from my garden, Cardiff is my home city, I love football and i also love the match day getting together with my close mates for a laugh and lots of pints.
Many thanks to my Grampy r.i.p. for taking me at a very young age to get the bug.

Everything I loved about Cardiff has gone but ill still support in the hope one day it returns.

Intimidating and loud atmosphere - gone
Fans sticking together no matter what - gone
Chants constantly sang in the stands - gone

Basically the fans were the reason I started supporting cardiff and not the actual team etc. I just used to love the occasion and it grew on me and became a part of my life, an important part. The fans were amazing back in the day but now, the stadium has not helped, its dire.

I long for the day they let us have safe standing like in Germany and we can sing whilst standing on the terraces again

If there was one thing I could have for the next 40 christmases and birthdays it'd be that.
