KCB - some are missing the point

Wed Jul 25, 2012 6:27 pm

There seems to be a mindset with some posters that KCB are trying to speak for everyone. That has never been claimed. They speak for themselves. If you agree with them fine - if you dont fine. But dont try to deny their right to protest. I never thought id see the day when some fans were made to feel threatened merely for campaigning to keep CCFC in BLUE ffs

I do think Gwyn and his mates actually helped the KCB cause last night (yes i was there). Their suggestion that a protest inside the ground would "upset the players" is laughable. Pity some of the fuckers didnt get a bit more upset in a few more games last season.

However the club statement is right - the football cant start quickly enough now. Wear your city shirt with pride. As long as its blue

Can I just say that the KCB cant claim to be holyer than thou. I agree they didnt threaten other fans but the way they have gone about belittling other fans who are happy with the rebrand is pathetic. As for protesting in the stadium it will have a knock on effect just look at Blackburn

it was confirmed last night (in between all the bollocks that was being shouted) that there will be no protests inside the ground.

Thats it - join in if you want - walk around it if you want - hey f**k it have a pro red event next to them but dont threaten people for wanting something different.

And if players are so easily distracted, perhaps we should hold up banners reminding them of their weekly take home pay. That might work better than a change of colour

In fairness though last night it seemed to me that the main faces of KCB had had refunds on their season tickets and were not going to go inside the stadium anyway and could only protest outside.
To me if you have gone to that extent of getting a refund then i would assume you have stopped supporting the club and that is the ultimate protest albeit only until the colour and badge get restored.
why travel hundreds of miles just to protest outside the stadium.
To my way of thinking the way forward is to actively encourage all fans to wear blue at the first home game as that would have a huge impact on a sky audience.
i could never condone threats of violence to other supporters but i can assure you that gwyn and corky were not involved in making threats to anybody.
on a lighter note when one of the lads said he was going to buy red shirts for his grand children the lady froM kcb told him he would be guilty of child abuse and would be a peado

You dont have to assure me of anything, I was there. I personally was disspointed that Gwyn and Corky didnt distance themselves from the threats. I know they didnt make them but they appeared to support those who did

As for that peado comment - I didnt hear it - wish i had tho

What if it's red? I buy both every season and always will. Will I get abusive comments for this at the stadium? :|

Your choice Roath - good luck to you. All I was saying was KCB decided not too but i go back to my original point, they dont purport to speak for everyone
