Read a rumour on Facebook that MM counter-proposed Arsenal's £2m bid for Joe Mason buy asking for £1m and Henri Lansbury.

It was a rumour posted by some account that has either reported news as 'breaking news' atleast an hour after most people knew about it, whilst the rest of these rumours have been false. Mason's going nowhere

This is just some bullshit rumour started on twitter but the reason others copied it as Arsenal often sign younsgers from lower leagues and we often sell (Ramsey).

Hypothetically speaking if they were to come in with an offer I'd demand at least £6m, you might think that's a lot but they spent around £10m on Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sunderland spent £8m on Connor Wickham who IMO is not as good as Joe Mason.
