CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB (HOLDINGS) LIMITED
NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING
The Annual general meeting will be on the 16th August 2012 11am at Cardiff City Stadium.
The annual report and financial statements will be discussed, plus any other business on the day.[/
Annis
Can you clarify something for me as I have not yet received the Trust`s notice of the meeting. I do not doubt at all what you have said , but it seems a strange way for the club to go about things.
You say its an Annual general meeting being called , but there is no obligation on the club to have such a meeting since the law changed a few years ago. What it does need is an Extraordinary general meeting (like it had last year) as it needs to increase the number of shares available to issue again for VT etc. to fulfil their promise to convert debt to equity - you can`t do that at an AGM unless there is a specific agreed resolution set out in the notice to do so.Without passing the relevant resolution , there would be an excuse for a further delay in converting debt to equity even if the Langston matter is settled soon.

Obviously Annis and Carl , but how many others ? I'm not. Would be nice to be one just to get the info upfront.

Annis is definitely a shareholder , but I don`t think Carl is. Be he may well be attending the meeting as proxy for someone else.
There are literally hundreds of shareholders holding small numbers of shares , and last year`s EGM had an audience of 50+

I doubt you will be able to buy unless you have several hundred thousand to put in. The numbers to mak eit interesting to the club have had several noughts added to them in the last few years.
I'm sure however you'd have plenty of takers from existing shareholders if you wanted to buy some off them -as they won't be worth anything like what any of us paid for them![]()

If you were to buy them you'd most likely pay the same as everyone else (except the Riddler !) which is around 17p per share.

I apologise Carl , I wasn't trying to feed any argument between you and Keith. I respect you both. I assumed that all the ex-inner circle had shares , and if what I read on another thread that you are not ex-inner circle is true , then I have even more respect for you because the alledged agendas of yours are not true.
Carl , you try to keep us guys informed. Keith , nobody can be right all the time. Why don't you two give each other a ring and sort it out before posting ?
No need for arguments , City Till We Die !

Sorry mate just seen this post, I was certainly never a member of the inner circle.
No need to apologise for anything you did not say anything wrong.

Apparently the club weren't expecting me to attend today as Annis had not sent the proxy form in for me to attend on his behalf, I am guessing that Keith must have asked the question if I was attending ( Why would someone be so bothered? ) or maybe TG announced it from the top table but I think it is safe to say it is not the latter.
The proxy form was posted to the club because I sent the form in myself but for Keith's benefit and so he is fully aware, Alison has just lost her grandfather and there are matters to deal with ie.funeral arrangements and some things are far more important to deal with than football matters. It really is a sad day to have to explain my absence at an AGM.
