If the KCB want to protest

Wed Jul 25, 2012 2:11 pm

I respect you have your own opinions and views but can you do it somewhere other than inside the stadium as i and many other fans and families just want to enjoy the game
Cheers :D :ayatollah:

Common bloody sense!!! We leave our divisions (& egos) at the turnstiles as the stadium is our church where we pay homage to the great CCFC.

Totally Agree.

Inside the stadium we should all be united as one, whatever your political agenda is outside.

Lets get behind the players first game,Surely just wearing blue and chanting bluebirds is protest enough while supporting the players

It'll be in the changing rooms next!

Anyway... What about the people that are truly protesting and obviously aren't going to have a ticket to get into the stadium...?

For as long as I can remember fans have protested inside a ground as well as outside, be it against the board, a specific chairman, the manager, or even at times particular players(Andy Campbell anyone), so why should KCB be any different, even if they are in the minority it is their right to do so, and if you do not agree with them then it's simple, don't join in, but for the love of Christ do not suddenly become a bunch of hypocrites by claiming you have never protested against any of the above mentioned reasons within a ground....

Do the people realise that their banners will get taken off them? Seem to remember a Anti Team GB banner/flag being taken off/pulled down by the stewards

As long as there are no sodding banners blocking my view otherwise i will tear them up. I think they should keep it outside the stadium otherwise it will end up like Blackburn

Think you nailed it there mate. I haven't cancelled the season ticket, however won't be renewing next yr. Wearing blue and shouting bluebirds should put put over the message loud and clear but still get behind the team.

The day I hear some muppet shout dragons or come on your reds (without it being tongue in cheek) will be a sad f*cking day.

Nothing and I mean NOTHING should be done that undermimes the team. Sorry, but when the games on they should be supporting the lads not protesting.

I mean protesting against Steve Kean DURING the game last season really helped Blackburn didnt it.

People should be allowed to protest as/when they want.

I find it ironic, that in 6 months time, if Tan is shown to have reneged on his promise of big investments, those saying nothing should be done inside the stadium, will be IN the stadium, protesting along with the rest!

At the end of the day i would rather be where we are, whatever colour we are playing in and knowing that come August 17th we will be playing championship football!!!!!!!

Or would certain supporters rather be in pompeys position!!!!!!

My answer is where we are now, end of!!!!

If anyone gets a banner into the stadium it will be ripped from their hands within seconds by either the stewards or fans who just want to watch the game. No need for it inside the ground. All it will do is disrupt the players.

Nothing to do with the fans. Kean would have got Barcelona relegated.
