CCSC Annual General meeting this week

Wed Jul 25, 2012 11:52 am

Given all the hysteria over the past few days and the red/blue debate thats still rumbling on can I make a simple suggestion?

I resigned from the CC Trust because of the Chairmans comments on the matter so I attended the CCSC annual general meeting incidentally down the stadium and listened to the general feeling of the members and committee.

Vince Alm spoken passionately on the fact that he abhors the change of colour and badge design. To be fair to Vince there were guys wearing shirts and badges that he openly criticised and holds regular meetings with high ranking officials of the club and board members. The committee of the CCSC voted to keep trying to get the club to change their minds.

Sorry for the long post but if everyone joined the CCSC their voice will get louder and louder with the increased membership and we as supporters can unite through the supporters club and hopefully win the day and return to our original colour.

Thoughts please!!!!!!!

Good post. The club to a large extent bring problems on themselves by inviting "fans representatives" form all corners of the principality. These people speak for a relatively small number of supporters. We need one big central "club" to represent all supporters, and yes if there is a significant amount of fans (lets say 30%) of the registered fanbase that want the rebranding opposed in some form of protest then organise it but keep it peaceful. unfortunately the 120 (ish) that turned up last night probably through no fault of their own have resulted in nothing but bad publicity. The official supporters club needs to be the voice of the fans. My opinion, I will respect other views.

The members were sent out a form to complete a few weeks ago (maybe 5-6 ?) regarding the feelings about the changes, not 1 person is happy to the changes but as I put on my form, willing to accept it for the club to have a chance of surviving, because without the investment (same old ....... ) we surely would not :(
