Apparently this Striker played in the Championship last season and is know in the Premiership so it is down to striker's from three teams, West Ham, Reading and Southampton !

Been reported that this striker is not English and is currently abroad so you can whittle that list down further and check who is currently away on a pre season tour

I'd say Vellios still.. But Maynard or Church.. I'd think this striker is young!

Also, was the player on loan to the championship last season, and not one that has been promoted?

From that list - Le Fondre for me hands down. But I don't believe our player is on that list.

A number of posters who have posted that he's not English think Citygent who has good sources was one

If we didn't have Joe Mason I'd have said Adam Le Fondre but I think this season we will really see Mason come into his own so I can't see Mackay looking for a small striker on top of Mason and we also have that new striker too. So I reckon it's Roberts.

Spoke to a Reading season ticket holder he said Le Fondre was decent coming off the bench but didnt turn up any trees when he started.

Said hes decent around the box but his all round play is poor. Sounds like Earnie.

I would welcome Simon Cox,a good player...My 1st choice would be Jordan Rhodes ( surprise / surprise )

But i think we will go after one of WHU forwards..lots of goings on at this club of late with regards to players.
