Time for a statement from the club I reckon.

Long shot I know, but perhaps some oil could be thrown on the stormy waters?

I don't know I don't represent the club.

Perhaps just a statement to the effect of "Please can all our fans get behind the club for this season as we have been registered as red anyway. We are saddened by recent events and would like to see fans just getting behind the team. Family club of the year last season, call for calm"...yadder yadder...
Well I don't know if it would help, but it may do?
Who knows eh?

As an old fan looking at the issue, I find it embarassing that Cardiff fans are split, at the end of the day we will always be Bluebirds no matter what, and I think deep down every fan knows that, we will always have our history. :ayatollah:

I'm just not sure what the club can say at this point.

Maybe they will once the echo run a story.

Very true Nobber, that cannot be changed.

Just this recent chapter in our history needs to be sorted before it gets worse.
We all follow the club, that's why they should come out with some sort of statement I think.

We are the Bluebirds.

We play in red.

For now.

I'm hoping that this is a minority of people using threatening behaviour and hopefully it won't tarnish the great football club that we are, I agree with you Steve, I can't wait for the season to start and let the football do the talking.

Was anyone from the club actually there? Be hard for them to make a (neutral) statement otherwise.

I agree, but they have to distance themselves from it and call for calm.
(Not to mention the fact it is because of a a decision made by the club that has caused the rift)

Call for calm? Have you seen our fan base? I love Cardiff and will follow them until they or I die (and I hope it's the latter) but i'm not naïve enough to pretend that this is surprising from our fan base.
