Are players such as Aron gunnarsson and gyfli siggurdsson poor players as their national teams are ranked poorly? The J league is actually a far better league than what people give credit for, the best in Asia by a mile. Can you recall a bad signing malky has made so far? Obviously he's had him watched and wouldn't jump in if he wasn't sure.

Having worked under Japanese management for 25 years And fully converse with their work ethic I find it a little hard to believe that the hold up is at their end.

They have all played and succeeded in arguably the best league in the world and are selected in the Olympic squad in which they have free reign to include England players who are currently Ranked 4 in the world. Yes but where did these players start off? They were nobodies plying their trade in the championship. Everyone has to start somewhere. Ji sung park for instance was having rave reviews before his transfter to man utd, was it a gamble? Yes but it just goes to show if you're good enough you can make a success of yourself

and just because your lot had a comfortable first season in the PL, doesn't make it the best in the world. La Primera Liga is. Five semi finalists in the two major club tournaments last season should win that particular vote - even for a blinkered jack

There were other clubs in for him and he decided on Cardiff as he didnt want to jump in at the deep end. It's his first club in europe, different culture etc so he wants to work up from there. A lot of players have done what he wants to do so 'premier league' clubs wouldn't bid as they know what he wants to do
