watched the bbc documentary last night and after what hes been through in this last year would love to see him win gold not just for him but for his dad who passed away early this year and was a major influence for him,the pressure on tom is going to be huge ,just seeing last night how he juggles his schoolwork with flying round the world for his competitions and he doesnt complain.it was horrible seeing his dad redeced to a poor ill man but the family have done well to cope with it,and hes a very likeable lad ...GOOD LUCK TOM.

Same here. Such a tragic loss of a great bloke. Robert Daley R.I.P.

Tom is a Great British Olympian and was his Dad's pride and joy. I sincerely hope he gets a gold but the Chinese have focussed on certain events, his included and it'll be really tough to beat them.

You had to see it in context. He was close to death at that time with a brain tumour.
