Mon Jul 23, 2012 6:37 pm

With Portsmouth on the brink because of players' wage demands and Rangers at stalemate with the SFA.

Would seem unfair to just add a new club into the championship.

I like rangers but hope they dont there are other teams that deserve promotion to the championship and like someone said maybe a conference team can take a league place

Would have to be League 1 to replace Portsmouth directly.

If Portsmouth were to fold and a team replace them from league two etc, am I right in saying that Wrexham would have a very good shout of obtaining a league two berth?

There is no point. As Scotland gets more independent things will distance and in the end England will end up kicking them out over something silly anyway then Rangers would be back to square one. Its best for the Scots and English to stay separated in as much as possible.

Not only that putting them into the English system (no matter how low down) would be almost rewarding them for their wrong doing. It wouldn't take them long to make the Premiership and scoop the riches on offer.
