Gwyn - whats the point in upholding the bullshit

Fri Jul 20, 2012 10:13 pm

You have done nothing but try and put forward the Malaysian point of view, trying to bring a bit of balance to the whole debate, however for most of us balanced normal thinking supporters which I believe makes up the large majority of the support it is a tiresome exercise and comes over as more of an exercise in brainwashing or influencing than anything else.
It ain't worth biting and trying to defend every point, as some of them are indefensible, even to us open minded supporters. Just leave it go now mate and concentrate on supporting the team and not the boardroom.

Who gives a crap? Cardiff fans should just care about Cardiff and sort all that stuff out in the meetings. Talking about it on here is just going to regurgitate the same old crap everyone has heard already. We know people's viewpoints, they're entitled to them whatever side now lets shut up and talk football.

BERBA IS COMING.

i don't hate vt i'm just against the re-branding there is a difference, i'm extremly gratefull for vt and tg for keeping the club afloat but i think the re-branding is unnessecery, gwyn feels the need to start threads that are pro rebranding and other people have the right to respond

I think the point of the post is so say that Gwyn is preaching to the converted and needs to quiet down a bit instead of always bringing it up and creating a devisive issue. It isn't having a go at the Malaysians - it's doing the opposite.

THE MALAYSIAN POINT OF VIEW ? Surely I am just one of the vast majority of real Cardiff fans who want what we feel is best for the club, weren't you as happy as the rest of us when they came on board and rescued us from oblivion.
Haven't they earned a bit of trust and respect for what they have done for us.

They have long term plans for expanding the stadium, building new improved training facilities, they have invested heavily in the academy, they have provide Malky with the funds needed to get a team that can compete, we are actually getting young players in that are increasing in value rather than short term stop gap type we have had to rely on previously, does all this sound like a far Eastern scam to asset strip our club and move on.

Until they do something that warrants my anger, they like other owners will have my full support, if they change their appraoch, I'm sure I along with the vast majority will as well, until then I think, rather know, the huge majority will support and back their vision and trust them accordingly.

Exactly Gwyn. My god people on here have short memories don't they? It wasn't too long ago when we were perilously close to extinction under the guidance of Mr Ridsdale. Be thankful for small mercies innit?   :ayatollah:

Fair play Gwyn you don't half change your position. You were telling us a few weeks back that you agreed with the SH view whereby we should let the Malaysians invest until they could no longer walk away and once they were in that vunerable position then we should protest against them. You now tell us that "Until they do something that warrants my anger, they like other owners will have my full support".
Its the constant altering of your viewpoint to suit which way the wind is blowing is the reason why you have little credibility left. :ayatollah:

Do I go on other peoples topics and belittle them because they have changed to red or accepted it ?

Am I sarcastic to other fans or belittle them ? if so where ?

Have I threatened other fans, or said there were nasty etc people around or pm them warning them ?
I stand by my love for my Blue and my Badge.

I dont trust VT and I dont have any respect for him after he has stripped my club of their identity .

I will continue to support Cardiff City, but I will stand by my beliefs.

Well said. Stay classy Cardiff. As a former fan of the Malaysian blokes I can now say I think they are cunts for causing a split between our supporters and changing our colours. It is a bit like the English banning kids from speaking Welsh in school. Let's not stop speaking Welsh so we can become a wealthier nation and make the English imperialists happy. ;-)

Yes agreed. Im fed up of the pro sam agenda on here more than im fed up of the rebrand debate which has been done to deatj now. I think we all know where each of us stand on the issue.
