We were strangely linked with him at 7m around feb time which was very odd.
I cant see it happening but it would be a top top signing.....also not at that price

Scott, I knew about the link in March but not now, to think we are getting some quality players for £1-3million, I really wouldn't pay even £2 million for Snodgrass, he ain't all that.

Why would we bid £8m when Norwich have supposedly bid £2.5 - £3m? Huge difference in valuation, good player but would rather strengthen other areas now, assuming we get Kimbo & CB39!

Warnock confirms City's Snodgrass bid

Leeds boss Neil Warnock has confirmed Norwich have had a bid rejected for captain Robert Snodgrass.

The Scottish forward has been offered a new deal at Elland Road which would reportedly make him the highest-paid player at the npower Championship club.
Warnock is waiting on a response while also trying to fend off interest from the Barclays Premier League Canaries.
"It's been made public that they (Norwich) have bid, but from our own point of view it's not what we're looking for," Warnock told www.leedsunited.com.
"We'd like to keep Rob, and Rob knows that. Whether that will be possible we'll have to wait and see.
"It's difficult when players get their heads turned, but I'd like to keep Rob at the club and that's what I'm trying to do at the moment. Unless they come up with a valuation that the club thinks is satisfactory then that's what we want to do."

Leeds manager Neil Warnock, meanwhile, has told his club's official website that captain Robert Snodgrass has been allowed to discuss terms with an unnamed club. Norwich had an approach for Snodgrass rejected last week.

Warnock says: "He's made it clear what he wants to do and he's had his head turned. He wants to play in the Premier League."
