Poll: Kenny Miller...

Sun Jul 15, 2012 8:37 pm

I personally will be gutted to see him go :(

Thought he always gave 100%, offered alot more than just goals but even so was just going through a long spell of bad form last season which happens to most strikers during their careers.

I think he would have come out firing this season :( :ayatollah:

I think "glad" is the wrong word. I petsonally dont think we were getting value for money with him. hoping it will mean an improvement upfront when we replace him.

Yeah that's a fair point, probably should have called it "Is it he right decision to let Kenny Miller leave?" too late now though, my bad :ayatollah:

I'd be gutted.
Be happier if we sold Earnie and kept Miller.
Imagine the opitions if we have Miller, Velikonja, Bellamy, new striker! :ayatollah:

Not glad, but it needs to be realised that Miller went through the worst spell of his career in terms of goalscoring in the second half of last season, and it could be tough for him to get that back at this stage.

If he leaves, best of luck. If he doesn't, then I hope to be celebrating a number of his goals next season.

We don't know the full facts yet. If Miller knows who Malky is bringing in or trying to bring in then he will also know where he stands in the pecking order. Would he want to sit on the bench most weeks hoping to come on for the last 15/20 minutes....maybe not. It may be Miller's decision to go.

I was surprised initially that there was no mention of a fee but that may be because he's not moving to another side in the championship and therefore no threat to us.

I think his workrate was fantastic at times and he was let down at times because there was never a proper target man working with him.

Not glad to see him leave but that may change depending on his replacement :ayatollah:

My vote has to be yes here, I know Miller worked his ass off but for 25k a week and his total return in goals it wasn't good enough, plus if we are letting Miller go in my opinion it shows that we are going to replace him with someone better which shows ambition but again this is all MY opinion.

My vote was yes....although he didnt score as many as i thought he would, he didnt half work his socks off for the club...will sad to see him go, but on the other hand its exciting times for us, we got two young, hungry strikers and the possibility of another multi million pound striker....things are looking up

cant wait for the season to start now.

Kenny Miller worked like a dog last season, his workrate was superb he always put a shift in.

Let's not forget that he played in a 4-5-1 system for the best part of a season wnd was linking up with the midfield having to drop deap at times.

He did not benefit from a partnership, Earnie is sadly not good enough and nor is Gestede or did we have the wide men to put the balls into the box.

I'd get rid of Gestede & Earnie before Miller he offers more than this 2 combined
