Five day court case over something someone may have said based on "hearsay" evidence. How much is that costing the tax payer? If Terry was found guilty which is unlikely in the extreme he'll get a max 2.5k fine, a complete and utter waste of time. Both have been charged for racism haven't they? Liam Stacey had 56 days in jail and got kicked out of his job, uni etc and will find it very hard to get his life back on track now. John Terry gets fined £2,500 which is loose change down his sofa and gets to carry on with his life as normal. That's the way I see things anyway, feel free to correct me if I've got my facts wrong.

I thought they went to court purely on the basis that Ferdinand wanted to take it there due to him hearing John Terry racially abuse him. Seems stupid if the only punishment he'll get is a fine after all of this.
