Have heard good things about him from a Jock mate. They reckon he got a touch of arrogance about him in a good way.

Agreed. If the unlikely happens and we get Bellers we would then also have Conway, Harris and Cowie who can do a job. Do you think that would cover it?

I have been trying to sign him on my Fifa 12 career mode for ages so this is a coincidence. If he's half as good in real life as he is on Fifa he will be a good signing. His pace and acceleration eventually go up to 99 on Fifa, so hopefully he will be really quick and he has a really powerful header too, as demonstrated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7KQlwCOgog

Bothroyd couldn't score a header like that. Don't let his goals per games stat put you off either as he plays attacking midfield also, so he doesn't seem an out and out striker. We really lack players who can make bursting runs into the box from midfield and get on the end of crosses, Russell has shown he can do this with his header against Rangers. I admit I haven't seen him play properly mind, so apart from how good he is rated on Fifa and that goal, I don't know much about him, but he seems highly rated with lots of potential.

Yes, he had 37 league games, but I didn't state that he made 42 league appearances... I simply said 42 appearances. That includes cup games.
