Post on the Coventry City Forum 24 minutes ago, stated that we had out bid Leeds in the race to sign Richard Keogh. The fee quoted is £750,000. However the poster does not quote his source!

Seems to be the cardiff Way. We were linked to Keogh 6 weeks ago and its still ongoing. In the meantime other teams show interest and generally we miss out. Its seem that City have bid 750K and Coventry are holding out for a little bit more. If thats the case and we want the player that badly why not pay it. Its an investment.
