tan and the langstone debt

Sat Jul 07, 2012 9:25 pm

does anybody think that vincent tan is in no rush to settle the langstone debt, or do you think he genuinley wants to settle it asap, my own opinion is that it is a convenient excuse not to make good on his promises in the short term ,i really don't think he wants to get it sorted before the end of next season and see whether we go up or not, what are other peoples thoughts on it ?

i dont really understand it to be honest....

why put 10 mil aside out of the so called investment to pay off langston, then dont offer the 10 mil to get it sorted.....

baffles me....

exactly thats what i was thinking all his promises are dependent on the langstone debt being settled ,he said there is 10 mill earmarked for langstone so why not just pay it things don't add up to me

The issue of who is right or wrong on the Langston debt is now secondary.
As a sign of intent and to earn some trust back, VT should pay it off now.

Most of us won't know until that first red game -just how mixed our feelings will be.

The nightmare scenario is that we stop going as we have no faith left.

VT has stuck his finger in a wound and wiggled it about.
He now needs to fix the wound for it to get better.
To leave the wound unattended will risk the spread of infection.

i agree he should pay it off, but i really don't think he wants too, i hope he proves me wrong

If Tan pays it off and lets be honest were talking about the sum Tan says he has already put aside, he can then name our stadium, worth millions :ayatollah: he can then make us debt free, Hmm
