WHO HAS MISQUOTED BRENDAN RODGERS ?

Sat Jul 07, 2012 8:42 pm

Simon Gaskell when his name is on the article about Bellamy on Walesonline today - "It would take a really special and unique opportunity"

Or

Paul Abbandanato in tomorrow's Wales on Sunday - "It will take something unique and personal for Bellamy to leave Liverpool".

Or has there been two different comments by Brendan Rodgers?

"It would take a really special and unique opportunity"

That's the quote of the Liverpool website.

Carl, in your own personal opinion what do you think will happen with Bellamy? Do YOU think we can strike a deal with both parties?

bit of deja vu here...

man city last yr said bellamy couldnt leave, then right at the end of the window gave in and he went to lpool who offered the deal..

liverpool say they want a fee for bellamy as he has 1 yr remaining on a contract, we muck about and then come the end of august he joins q.p.r. who offer a better deal for bellamy and lpool...

if we can sort something out for bellamy great, but i hope we dont go down the same rd as last yr and then miss out on other players this term..

show our hand, make the offer and if its not good enough, so be it and move on.

Bellers himself said anything ? Theres so much baloney flying about this forum atm that certain members get sucked in and take it as gospel. Actions speak louder than words - Malky has his feet under the table this pre-season so needs to move sooner rather than later . No more rumour , no more bullshit , no more excuses - results needed on the park from Aug 17 , those results will be influenced by whatever activity or inactivity occurs in the next six weeks or so and it's Malky who's responsible for that !

Yes Craig, I believe it will happen and Brendan is preparing the ground.

I was thinking as much with everything I've heard over the last few months. :ayatollah:

The quote from the Liverpool Echo:

“He’s a player. It would take a really special and unique opportunity for Craig to walk out of Liverpool and for us to go our separate ways.

“If anything changes on that from a personal perspective then him and I will talk about that.”

I personally don't think he will come to Cardiff. I appreciate personal reasons, but he had the chance to come back last season and chose Liverpool. Don't think they will want to let go of him either and I think he would fit perfectly into Rodgers preferred way of playing.

Is this in the same vein as you believing that Alan Shearer was going to be the next manager, or that the rebranding exercise to change the shirts to blue was bollux - you know the one in which you posted on the bus back from Wembley in the thread which was later 'removed' ?????????

Or are you saying that you are now privy to Brendan Rodgers' thoughts as well?

From what I have been told and it comes from someone who is not prone to exaggeration or disinformation is that there are sufficient personal reasons involved. Additionally, I am told that the club have spoken with Bellamy so it would appear the information that has been put out by Merlin and Carl is pretty close to the mark. Nobody claims to know exactly what is going on in these updates just generally trying to keep us up to date with a fluid situation - after all its not surprising that people in Cardiff know Bellamy and his family is it.

The same Alan Shearer that was offered the job BUT he turned it down.

And I never once said changing the shirts to BLUE was bollox - How long have you followed Cardiff City, as we were already playing in BLUE.

And what bus was I on that was travelling from WEMBLEY ?

Do you mean UPTON PARK.

Tell Mummy not to forget your favourite snack for your lunch box tomorrow!

The idea is bollocks but it was wrong that the rebranding wasn't happening.
