debate.

Once Sam is paid off the club will be able to get Stadium Spnsorship. So maybe a million or 2 to be gained form that towards the Langston pay-off ?

I can't tell you that a far east sponsor is ready to pay a lot more than £2m for the naming rights, so I wont

Tim, Yes they will be able to, a very good point and I heard we have a Far East one lined up for about £5 mill.

So its still a mystery why they just dont pay Sam/Langston off once and for all. ?

I don't know the answer to that one

Battle of wills ?

I wish it would get sorted once and for all.

Tim, I honestly believe Sam wants gone now and to be with his family and he is getting on. VT though likes to grind people down and wants to spread the money over years, Sam wants out once and for all.

if the malaysians have already accounted 10mil in the package for langston, why drag their feet about it??? this is out of the whole investment the one which needs to be sorted first for other things to move on.... pay langston the 10 mil, then bring in the buyer for the stadium naming and that recoups 5mil back...

Sam wants £10M, VT wants to pay £8M. Why don't they just shake hands for £9M and get it over with.

On paper, paying 10mil to clear the Hammam debt seems like good business. Get it done and dusted to be able to move on.

But, Tan cannot be a business mug so I'm guessing he's not giving it all Sam's way for a reason. It's good in one way if it is a case of Tan flexing his financial muscles (obviously depending if some good comes of it) but, a shame in another respect as it would have been good to get it all sorted before the new season to help rebuild the trust and galvanise the fan base and the club.
