I was thinking exactly that when reading it... Players come and go, and unless the City was their boyhood club then they surely can't feel as we do about the whole blue/red issue, and if anything it stings a little have a player telling me what I should do and how I should feel about the club I have loved for so long, even feels a bit patronising...

Players come and go, and unless the City was their boyhood club then they surely can't feel as we do about the whole blue/red issue, and if anything it stings a little have a player telling me what I should do and how I should feel about the club I have loved for so long, even feels a bit patronising...
Malky and the players are only asking for the fans full support nothing wrong with coming out and saying that and the more the fans get behind the team the better the results will be on the pitch, last thing they want is the fans paying more attention to a change of colour of shirt and badge rather than matters on the pitch and getting behind Cardiff city football club

having read the article again i can see that whittingham has been diplomatic and hasn't mentioned the red/blue thing it's paul abbanato who has , apologies
