I am happy for the Welsh players and i think the ones that have been selected deserve it but I think their decision to play is a selfish one and they have gone against good FAW advice.

I would not complain if every Welsh player that took part was permanently expelled from the Welsh national team.

As for Bellamy - His nationality and Welsh/British ideal has no impact at club level at all - like all of our players - and so it wouldn't bother me.

I don't understand what you mean? They are/were safeguarding the future of Welsh National football. Do you not agree with that?

No I don't. They had many promises from FIFA that nothing would happen and all they would require would be a legally binding agreement to protect themselves which they didn't bother asking for.

I'm unimpressed that any suspensions that are picked up will carry over to Wales games

And you trust FIFA?

Sadly, we are still party of this whole "British" fiasco. This is the only way they'll be able to compete in the olympics so i dont hold it against them. Once we become our own country, it will be a different matter. f**k the union the jack! :ayatollah:

An event with no freebies for the FAW freeloaders...

Fifa, Eufa need the smaller nations, Wales, N. Ireland & Scotland add fixtures and more importantly TV revenue. They wand/need to keep the big boys apart to ramp up the finals (more TV revenue) for both World & Euro tournaments.

The Faw are scaremongering, hardly unusual

They want to keep the big boys apart but how does that affect Wales? We haven't kept anyone apart since 1958! Scotland has been 16 years and I don't even know about NI.

FIFA would love to see the home nations unified as it means 1 vote instead of 4 at the top table - we all have a massive input into the game for such small and rubbish football nations and a unificaton of the votes would give a huge power shift in FIFAs direction without the historical burden of the 4 home nations in the way.
