Transfer Latest News

Let's face it, none of us have a clue. The Jordon Mutch deal came through without any prior speculation, and I suspect the next one's will come in much the same way.

Is this the death of the "Carls Update"
Looks like the moles have been silenced or destroyed since Malky took over.

I dont mind too much --bad rumours caus etoo much aggro anyway

I agree, Malky does find the players, but the clubs always seem to never want to do business with us lately, well not many.

Is there any news on any moves for Craig Noone? I think he could be an outstanding player for us.

Why is everyone fixated on Noone?
I don't find him that good, too inconsistent meant he was always in and out of the Brighton first 11......

overrated.....

Maybe because Brighton have other wingers and they have plenty of depth, maybe Poyet likes to rotate the squad?

I reckon Malky's found a diamond in Kadeem Harris..... we may see the winger unleashed on the opposite side to a Fit-again Conway.....

;)

All ifs, buts and maybe's to me....... Much rather Buckley, but even he found himself being used as a sub more often than not with that new foreign lad they signed.

We need 2 players after Keogh signs, A very quick technically skillful winger who can hit a mean cross! and a Big pacey target man of similar stature to Jay Bothroyd? ........(ding ding!! )

Other than that I wouldn't be in a rush to bring anyone in unless players went out from city. :ayatollah:

I would rather have Will Buckley than Noone, from the wingers at Brighton...but there are plenty of good players out there,we just have to wait :ayatollah:

I wish you were right but I can't see it. For some reason Malky did not give him a 15-20 minute run out in games towards the end of the season even though we were crying out for a bit of pace and width to unlock some defences. I know he's still young but it would have been worth just to see how Kadeem performed at this level. :ayatollah:

I firmly believe we are missing someone at the club who can convince players to join us.
Malky done well last season with the resources he had but the better teams found us out as the season progressed and I fear we will need more quality players to push on this season.

Which is it then Annie because according to Carl we've not bids for the players that have gone elsewhere apart from the lad that went to southaptom... apparently anyway

I enjoy people saying 'We cant throw Kadeem in'.. Um yes we can.. Gunnarsson got injured vs Bristol first home game and we threw in Mason and he blew everyone away.
A good run out for 20 minutes would give him the chance to embrace the level of Championship football. :ayatollah:
