" CRAIG BELLAMY LATEST "

Thu Jul 05, 2012 5:53 pm

I am hearing that City will pay Bellers £35k approx a week and a massive promotion bonus on a 3 year contract if he can sort out his contract with Liverpool. :ayatollah:

Cardiff will not pay a fee for Bellamy, he has to sort his contract out himself with Liverpool.

His wife and family want Craig back home in Cardiff and that could be a major factor in him rejoining City.

lets hope that liverpool see sense and as they didnt pay a fee for him, they should allow him to move on if possible...

id be happy with a 3 yr deal... that would be the max... i know craig was hoping for at least a 3 yr deal and apart from us i dont think he would get that else where.

last season craig showed he is still class and was leagues above some of the liverpool players who cost millions!

this would be good for the fans and may unite those who have fallen out over the last few weeks or so....

fingers crossed craig can sort things out with liverpool, unlike last yrs fiasco.

I have learned that Liverpool are fully aware of Craig's current situation, and it is now ALL DOWN TO CRAIG to do what's best for him.

On the information I have received recently over the past few months, I really can see him coming back to Cardiff. (If he has any sense!)

Anyway, If we can get rid of Gerrard, as well as recently shifting on Quinny, Naylor, Keinan, Wildig, and the others, we can establish that quite a bit of cash has been freed up for part of a wage budget.... Hopefully we can get our man.

I think its good that we will not pay over the odds for a player with a dodgey knee and who is old but i thought a mil or so would seal it. Do you think its is likely liverpool will let him go annis?

This feels a lot like last summer....except I think a lot of us are more pessamistic based on all the "misses" since January. I chose to stay positive since last season turned out so much better than expected.

Although Bellamy watch drives me crazy, it's my own fault. I can't stand letting an hour pass without checking to see if there is any news.

Like I said, They are fully aware of his situation, and will hopefully come to an agreement soon. I think the major factor in all of this is 90% resting with Bellamy making the difficult but wise decision.

agree a bit, however i think last yr with man city originally stalling on letting, bellamy and adebayor etc.. leave for nothing, i think liverpool are abit more diplomatic .... i hope anyway!

Wildig, Quinn and Naylor have already gone :D

That's the equivalent of £5,460,000 over 3 years, so considering some of the rumoured bids we are putting in etc it's not bad.

However, it's a rediculously high wage for a Championship player but I'd love it to happen! :ayatollah:

£35k a week in the Championship and you wonder why your finances are in the shit.

Dear God.

Dear God.

Bellers will bring 4000 extra fans through gates (80-100,000 over season) plus replica shirts etc. His signing will be worth 2 million to club which covers his wages. He is also a quality player who has the potential to get us up-we should have gone up 2 years ago but had the bottler in charge. Malky is not a bottler.

Your opinion. Look back at his last spell and see how many extra tickets and shirts were sold. I think you'll find I'm correct

But you'll need to replace those players unless you're expecting new signings to play for free?

You're losing £1.3m a month aren't you? Will you lot ever learn from your mistakes?

Indeed but fans have a responsibility as well. You lot know the club is financially in the shit but yet demand big signings.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Going into Admin over and over again and expecting different results.

We will continue to ride the moral high ground as our club continues to pay its dues.
