BIG THANKS

Wed Jul 04, 2012 4:54 pm

Big thanks to everyone who contributed and helped myself and my loved ones thru this terrible time. Not just the people that attended today and there were hundred's and hundred's there and we were all so touched and it really really helped to see and feel the love that was there for Becky and all of us.
Those that sent messages flowers cards and verbal thanks, you have all played a part and reassured me there are a lot of nice lovely caring people out there.
The service was warm and touching and it really did set the tone of love and sharing that was Becky. Things for me will never be the same again, but please treat me as you always have and that will be good enough for me don't avoid me or avoid talking of Becky, because she will be among us all forever, too many happy memories to be otherwise.

Gwyn,
There was a superb turn out for Becky today, I stood outside with hundreds of friends/family/Cardiff City staff who came to pay their respects to Becky.
The service was very emotional and Becky's life story is something I will always remember, especially Beck's courage.
My thoughts and heart is with u Gwyn.

Becky, Gwyns little Angel RIP.

It was a very emotional day and you were very dignified mate, your two lads Ben and James were a credit to you and of course Alison and her lovely family were there to support you along with your other family members and many friends.
Funerals are always sad but this one was particularly so, but the memories of Becky's life will live with you forever and nobody can take that from you.
Pop over when you feel able to mate, or maybe I will pop over, at any rate you know where I am.

Gwyn the send off Becky had today was appropriate for the remarkable young lady she was. I was moved by the readings of the minister and especially the poem written by Gary.

You have been remarkably strong throughout such a tough ordeal but rest assured that your family and friends are here for you.

I would like to remind everyone that there is a just giving page set up in memory of Becky to support a cause that she worked tirelessly herself to raise funds for, truly remarkable lady.

Appreciate what you done setting this up Carl, and it was great to see so many of my mates from the City and also so many from behind the scenes such as Steve Borley, Wayne Nash and Julian Jenkins, we are part of a special club, just wish more of us could pull together for the sake of the club rather than have separate agendas.

People will never appreciate how much the club means to me, and at the lowest moments I have had this week, I have clung to it and the love I feel for it really has helped to get me through, that is why I'm so sensitive to this colour thing, the club means so much more than a colour a badge a name whatever, to me it's family and all about belonging. :ayatollah:

Have only just got back online and just wanted to say it was a beautiful service very touching and paid tribute to a fantastic young lady. There was some lovely funny stories and the poem by Gary was from the heart and brought a lump to the throat and a tear to the eye.

Just to repeat what Karl posted If anyone wants to honour Becky and help with her fantastic fund raising efforts then please donate at http://www.justgiving.com/remember/26193/Becky-Davies if every forum member just donated a pound each imagine how much money we could raise in Beckys memory :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
