Will we lose any players?

All those that are hoping for signings is great, but the key to us having a succesfull season first and foremost, is to hold onto our already established squad. Maybe 3 signings in 3 key areas,will be enough.

Everyone calm the f**k down. We don't need 10 new players!! There was nothing major wrong with last years squad,appart from 3 good signings. No rush people. Be honest if the players that we bring in have that much quality,then they won't need a pre season as long as we get the right player. FFs I don't see anyone complaining about pre season in the jan transfer window!!

The first 15 or so we have are all capable. I agree adding 3 key players (2 wingers and a striker) would change the entire dimension of the squad.

However the other good work will be done getting rid of the likes of Gerrard, Keinan etc etc and replacing them.

Exactly. We need 2 decent strikers for starters because 3 of our 4 are gash.

Plus we didnt have the biggest squad last season and have lost / will be losing some players.

Im expecting at least 6 new faces.

Now that we have a new reserve keeper and a good CM with a great future, I'd be more than happy if we get a striker who can score 15+ goals a season and Bellamy.

IMO Mason will be pushing for a starting place alongside another striker this season, especially as Miller is getting on now and Mason is definitely one for the future

I think you will find,my dear Canton stand baz,that it was the Media who first mentioned that the City need to sign 8 or more players before the season starts,it does not take a great leap of understanding as to how these stories start,normally the media are leaked the information by an insider in the club...surly not our Malky??

This transfer window I'm sure, will not see a lot of players just 3 strong signings on top of the 2 already signed.
