Correct something has to give. The FFP rules are a start but a doubt they will be the last attempt to kerb the overspending by clubs.

It needs some brave club Chairmen to make a stand and tell players enough is enough.

They need to put a cap on all players wages through out every football league otherwise itll never work.

Only Eufa can stop this but they choose to do nothing. Their money making machine the Champions league is the prime driver for the greed. When a team can celebrate 4th in the premier league as a success because of the untold riches it trivialises the remaining respective domestic teams.

They can divide the money better, but line their own pockets and the monster payout make it worth the gamble (similar to Leeds) as the downside is not that great.

I thought Platini would have been a greater change for the good, but what has he done ?
