Promoted or not I will feel the same about the rebrand. I accept it as long as the full investment is made and our future as a football club is secured.

At the same time I will support those who use non-contfrontisional methods to lobby for a change back to Blue.

I dont see how anyone can know until it happens?

What I will say is if you have been following the team all season then I'd think it would feel the same.

Would it have meant less if we beat Pompey in the FA Cup final wearing black? Of course not.

The raw emotion of the day would take over and if we got a winning goal at home to secure promotion I can't see anyone saying "oh wait, hold that celebration, we got a red shirt on"

For me it would defo not be the same and if we did go up the new badge/kit would spoil it big time for me .

What if we went up wearing another club at an away ground?

You mean wearing a another kit at an away ground,

I would be happy with that but my point is meant for home games.

Apologies I'm trying to charge the phone and type lol.

So is it about location rather than colour?

I support them home, away and in a changed strip.

Well both mate at home I strongly feel are colour should stay blue as this colour has always represented CCFC at home.

I totally agree with you, we all want blue (I think).
Just in that moment of promotion (if it happened) I just think it would be the last thing on my mind.
Especially by this point we would have seen a lot of red so would either have felt its not city an stopped going or felt we could go on.

It's not going to be nice seeing them come out the tunnel, that's will be the weird moment along with the kick off.
I'm hoping I'll be to engrossed with the game to worry about the game.

Not for me. I still don't get some (not all) of the pro reds. Some of the pro reds I understand as they want financial security for our club. But I will never understand those who are happy for us to turn red so they can see Premiership football. These people simply want to see a team in their area play in the Premiership and it doesn't matter to them if this team do not play in blue or don't have the Bluebird as their main symbol on the badge. If watching Premiership football really means this much to these people, why don't they travel a bit further to watch Swansea? Swansea do not play in blue, they do not have the Bluebird on their badge and they are in the Premiership? I understand those who are happy for us to give up our colour and badge for the financial future of our club, but I will ever understand those who are in favour just to see Premiership football. Seriously, if that's the mentality of some people, would going to watch Swansea really be any different to them?

I think you will know if we almost score, that moment of jumping out the seat in antisipation :ayatollah:
I just hope those who are giving it a chance can either tolerate or live to love red.

i`m pro red and for me its finanacial security -and all that goes with it-not having to worry about selling your best players to make ends meet ,and malky having a war chest to build a team that will take us into the prem and i think this is the opinion of most of us pro reds-without the malaysian money would be in deep shit poss without a club at all.if i wanted to support a "local premiership side" i could almost walk to the puberty from neath

I completely understand your reason. I hope you can appreciate my feelings on why I can't understand those in favour just to see Premiership football, but as I said, I completely understand those who are in favour of the change for the financial security of our club and I respect your feelings.

And you have proof where? None is being turned into equity because you say so?

You're just a shit stirring jack in most peoples opinion. Seems like your opinion counts for very little on here anyway. :D

I'm not saying I think the rebranding will give us financial security. I'm saying the reason the majority of the pro reds are in favour is because their opinions are they think it will give us financial security.
