Selling my debut album for 15p for the next week.

Tue Jul 03, 2012 8:03 pm

Gentlemen,

My début album 'Forgotten Hymns of the Failed Revolution' is released on iTunes, Amazon MP3 etc tomorrow and to generate a bit of buzz around it I am selling it from my own site for just 15p.

You can get the album here http://sibaroni.bandcamp.com/album/forg ... evoulution

The code for the 95% discount is 1927 :ayatollah:

The code is only valid until the 10th July and there are only 200 downloads available.

The style of music is rock/punk/indie type of thing. Music I'm influenced by is stuff like the Manics, Blur, Dinosaur Jr. Pavement, Oasis etc.

Any help you lads can give me in getting people listening to my stuff through twitter, facebook, telling your mates in the pub etc is massively appreciated!

Cheers

Terrible production on that tune mate, a total mess to be honest. Did you do it on a "home studio" type thing?

I'm not being offensive or rude so please accept this as constructive criticism. It does have a certain something, bit too much like early Manics but hey ho. Hire a good studio for a day, a good one in Brixton if its still there, with a good sound man, someone who knows his way around the mixing desk and can give a bit of advice.

My personal advice is to play as many live gigs as you can without paying upfront, Rock Garden, Townhouse, etc as they don't give a shit.

Good luck, it's hard. :ayatollah:

Thanks for the advice fella. Your right home studio job, not got the funds for anything else at the current time unfortunately.

Really appreciate you taking the time to have a listen and give me your feedback.
