Eddie Johnson looks awesome on YouTube. I would be happy with club paying that much for a 22 year old whose value may still increase. This guy would be bought at his peak and can only go down hill. Only scored 6 goals last season, Kenny Miller got more than that.

I used to go and watch Hannover 96 play all their home games when their stadium was called the Niedersachsenstadion, as I had broken my leg playing for my German club and got posted there when Hannover were in the German second division!

I can't remember many of the main Hannover players, just that the best player was was a forward and was nicknamed Ziggy!

I also remember watching the West German team beat Russia 2-1 there umpteen years ago, just before the Berlin Wall came down!

I used to go with a couple of my Army colleagues and we'd "survey" the redlight area after their matches as well!

It used to be bedlam down there when Hannover played Braunshweig or Wolfsburg!

Seem to remember that Braunscheig weren't so much of a threat football wise in them days, but Wolfsburg always seemed to nick a 1-0 win and both matches were very intense, due to the local rivalry!

If there is anything to this, wouldn't he struggle to get a work permit with just six caps for his country?

Bob are we not in the european union so he would not need a work permit, if he was born in Germany, if he was born anywhere else then he already has a work permit to play
