Exposure in Malaysia...

I've read many ideas and guesses on here about how your owners are going to promote your side in Malaysia, some sensible ideas and some crazy ones... How about this?

From what I've read, this Vincent Tan fella bought the franchise of both McDonald's and KFC to Malaysia? He may well have sold them on, I have no idea, but... If he still has a say in the way they are run, what better way to promote your side than through these outlets? Show the matches in the stores? Staff wearing the new shirts as uniform? It would generate attention if nothing else.

This isn't a piss take, I worked in marketing with McDonalds for a few years, if you want to generate a marketing campaign then there aren't many bigger chains in the world.

He's exploring loopholes to screen our games in Malaysia, building a massive shopping center in China/Beijing or something, owns BERJAYA I think so could use them to make Cardiff City huge.

A championship club will not generate much income in a country that is not that focussed on football. I also doubt that Ronald McDonald would trade in his clowns outfit for one of our red offerings.

Had a couple of beers last night... So here goes when I'm sober, Blue and Red are primary colours for McDonald's and KFC, quite reasonable that they could use the new shirts as staff uniforms over there. Would certainly gain attention and get a lot of press, media exposure. Not as far fetched as some of the ideas I've seen on here?

If we were a premiership side then we would have half a chance but with a championship side I would doubt if our exposure would amount to much. We could of course reverse your idea and have Cardiff still playing at home in red wearing a Ronald McDonald kit
