Without even wanting to be controversial do you not accept that AT LAST this is an opportunity for the likes of Giggs and Bellamy to have a chance of competing in a major International tournament finals. There have been MANY world class Welsh players who have never had this opportunity which is a crying shame.I for one don't blame them for putting their names in the hat. GOOD LUCK TO THEM.

Id count myself as Welsh, and British. But feel no affinity to that flag at all.

Platini has stated numerous times that we wont be endangered. And anyway the FAW and SFA have on numerous times shown they are against it and its insteasd the players choice. Grow up

Well I would like to point out how many English and other adopted nationals played for Wales over the last 25 yrs. ?? Vinnie jones played for us because his grandmothers left tit was welsh. Fair play he learnt the welsh anthem

Up until now we have always been a proud independent footballing nation, unlike like the egg men and their lions. Now selfish players have decided to go against the advice the FAW on this. We don't do 'Britain' in football never have never should.

The Euros are over. No more football until the pre-season friendlies start. Olympic football is not serious. Bale injured ?? Likely story He's our one world-class player, and he does not fancy 'risking' it, whatever he said in the past. Says it all.
