Thought he was Pompey's best player when they played us at the CCS. Haven't seen Turner get bullied as much as he did that day. Would be a cheap option, but could be a pretty effective option. Surely he'd be more reliable that Rudy!

To be fair to Futacs it couldn't have been easy to loose your most creative players (Huskelepp and umm Liam Lawrence ) halfway through the season, plus it takes time to adjust to English football. I would take a punt on him, don't forget he's younger than Rudy and I've seen many talk about how his game could potentially develop.

Bothroyd only opition. Bothroyd wasnt exactly the best when he first came but we made him into a better player. We could do that with Futacs. With the right service from our midfield we could make something of him.

Yes totally agree thats why if we have money to bid for that class of player we shouldnt be looking at the likes of Futacs.

Have to agree - if we had £3 million to spend on either of these, why can't we find the 20 goal a season player now instead of another unproven youngster. We need goals and they cost, so whatever Malkys budget is, this is the area we should be targeting most of our resources at.

Defo for me. Only young, had a decent season last year and will only get better. Would give us something different, will hold the ball up, score goals and best of all on a free.

Loan out Rudy bring Futacs and aim for a better striker thats worth 3mil? Good depth then.
