seamstresses - changing badge - can it be done?

Sun Jul 01, 2012 9:33 pm

Has anyone considered sacrificing and old jersey and putting its badge onto the new kit? Seems a bit extreme but Im honestly too embarrassed to walk around with this new badge, I've tended to wear a lot of City tops since living away from Cardiff and wear them to the gym a lot too. I'm not having the lads tear me a new hole on this, been bad enough trying to instinctively justify my clubs rebranding and they've not even seen the badge yet.

Ill get the away one but only if I know it can be changed over with a professional hand. Worth it or not.....

No release date on kit, away kit will be out after the home kit too. The club has last year's kits for like £10 at the mo if you want a source of the old badge.

I got a couple of lady's who make curtains for me, it shouldn't be a problem as long as badge same size or slightly bigger as you will have tiny needles marks from when the badge was put in place.

I'm gonna look into this more once I see the new badge up close and get a size for it. I think once I see one person with a badge change done with an impeccable hand I'll be all over it. As far as I am concerned this herroundous new badge is only for one season so why put up with it all all, it doesn't exist to me.

Somebody posted an ebay link which had our badge from last season but they were going for 90p but with £5 postage. Thought that would be easier than chopping up an old shirt
