2014 UEFA SUPER CUP AT CCS

The 2014 and 2015 UEFA Super Cup hosts were assigned. In 2014 the UEFA Super Cup will take place at Cardiff City Stadium, Wales, while in 2015 the match will be held at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Executive Committee also agreed a new date for the UEFA Super Cup. As from 2014 it will take place in mid-August pending ratification of the new international match calendar by FIFA (as of 2014). The venue for the 2013 UEFA Super Cup has already been announced as Eden Stadium, Prague on 30 August 2013.

Well the Prague stadium in 2013 holds 21,000 and the Georgia stadium in 2014 only holds 27,000. So maybe they like to host the competition in smaller venues?

They said millenium on radio this morning but looks like it is at CCS. Free tickets for all season ticket holders?

70% go to clubs involved and sponsors etc. The other 30% are 70 euros and done via public ballot on uefa site. So probably very small chance of getting tickets.

cant see it being the ccs ,i think thats a mistake ,bet it'll be the millennium,the uefa people like the mill stad and as yet we have not had a proper euro game there ...never know though....strange how it could be the ccs though.

Will Hull stubs count for a ticket?

The game was always played in Monaco and the crowd was usually around 18k. It's not that high profile a game (still a coup though) so it can be played at smaller venues.

This is UEFA touring a game around lesser UEFA nations to drum up some interest and promote the leagues. This will be more about the game being hosted by the Welsh FA than by us.

The ccs could have a bigger capacity by the time 2014 comes. Already been talks of putting more seats in the stadium hasn't there? Me personally would like to see the game held at the millstad. If the welsh fa market it right, then we could get a big crowd for it, and put us in the hat for a future Europa or even a champs league final being held at the millstad.

Wonder if VT will move forward more quickly with the stadium expansion now?

Currently you can buy tickets for the Uefa Super Cup this August for Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid
And thats for a 21,000 seater stadium

Our's should be 35,000 by then and plenty of tickets should be available to us

They always play at smaller venues, monacos ground is smaller than ours I think
