Is this Bellamy thing just a diversion tactic

Mon Jun 25, 2012 10:55 pm

from the real issue surrounding the club which is the blue/red debate or shall I say 'lack of it'.

Re: Is this Bellamy thing just a diversion tactic

I wouldn't think so, we will be playing in red that's all done, not a lot to debate.
The club have said no approach has been made so not sure how you can blame them.
It seems they are working on something tho.

In the minds of 'some' it 'maybe' done and dusted but not in the eyes of many and the club know that.

You can't blame the club for people make assumptions.
All they can do is deny making an approach which they have.

What 'some' could call 'assumptions' others could call spin

I thought the club had enquired about the likelyhood of a deal being done?

Well the club can't be at fault because of tr nativity if minimal fans?
So in your opinion what should the club have done regarding these rumours?

Well its positive PR for the club isn't it after the complete lack of it during the colour change. 'Or' it could be a softener if Whitts was to leave

Firstly i don't think Witts will leave unless he kicks up a fuss about wanting to leave but he isn't really the type. But if we had the option of witts or bellers next season then it would certainly be bellers.

Denying the club had made an approach for a player is positive PR why?

No but it could be from other potential targets, sneak a couple more Mutch type players in......

Re: Is this Bellamy thing just a diversion tactic

Tue Jun 26, 2012 6:36 am

We are not going to pay £2m for him, this is the echo, if he starts kicking up a fuss, Liverpool will be glad to get rid, if we pay a small fee and wages  remember the only reason he did not play too many games last season was because of other players in front of him not because he was injured, Whitts is going nowhere, if he did his girlfriend would not be going with him, Whitts is in a place where he is happy and want's be, one last point Liverpool will not be happy with the team GB thing, they will want to hit the road running, so the team that Rodgers puts out will be the basis of his team obviously it also depends on what players he brings in

For once you're right but its not a bad thing.I think as the weeks go on you and others that hold a similar opinion will find it increasingly harder to keep people focused on this issue as its all done and dusted for this season at least.

Taffyplastic, sorry but are you for or against this re-brand..? Your stance is so blurred you don't know which way to go!!! On one hand you are against the re-brand then you are having a go at me for suggesting that this could be a diversion tactic by the club to draw tension away from the red/blue debate. Opps sorry I forgot, you don't live in the area so you don't really know how angry people are about this issue.

For fecks sake stop going on about the red/blue bullshit its been done to death. We have changed to red and that's the end of it. Live with it!!! Nothings gonna change this season. If your a true Cardiff City supporter just get on with supporting the club instead of constantly knocking it.

We've gone through all this. Dont pick fights with me on here your not bright enough.

I'm not blurred. I hate the re-brand. Because I've been watching the f*cking Club home
and away for 30 years feller. you johnny-cum-lately dull as a blunt spoon failed politician.

Cardiff City have not ONCE mentioned signing Craig again. Have we put a bid in? Its all
media talk and messageboards. So how the f**k can it be the Clubs diversionary tactics

Its all in your head. You must rack your brains at night thinking of something negative
to write about this great Club.

As for not knowing how angry people are about the issue?

I've probably lived in Cardiff more than you ever have you nitwit. Adopted son of the
parish of Ye Olde Captain William Morgan (pirate)

The season we signed Chopra, we had a superb start, cant rememeber if it was about
ten won from the first thirteen. The season Hartson came with West Brom and got
destroyed on a Tuesday night by City fans. (you may have been busy canvassing your
special needs group??.... anyways. one Sunday afternoon in the Goodys, nobody was
allowed to put the TV on. It stayed on Teletext for about three hours cos it was showing
us on top of the League. THATS PASSION. Singing our hearts out all day watching teletext.

Try harder. Everyone on this board knows you dont give a f**k about Cardiff City.

It will NEVER be the end of it whether people like it or not as the campaign group is growing by the day and true Cardiff City supporters would join up!!!! No true Cardiff City supporters would roll over and let this red issue tickle them on the tummy!!!

I CONSIDER MYSELF A TRUE CARDIFF CITY SUPPORTER and have supported Cardiff City for 47 long hard years through thick and thin from wearing blue with Bluebird badges to without and back with them again. I support Cardiff City the club and I haven't rolled over and allowed the red issue to tickle me on the tummy. I have accepted it and am moving on with the times and when the time comes for my club to wear blue again I will accept that as well because I don't support a colour I support my club, grow up and get over yourself man, the issue is dead and nothing you or any other fan can change it this season our new kit is already registered with the Football League so why keep on and on about the same old story, if you truly love your football club stop fecking moaning about it all the time u sound like a fecking Jack. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Lad, I'm 50 this year, started watching City when I was about 19/20. Do the Maths. There are
people who post on this board who remember the early 80's (and me) you silly billy.

You need to stop listening to that Daya bloke. He plays you like a fiddle.

Its not that I take a dislike to you really. I feel sorry for you. You obviously have issues and
lack self-esteem. Which is why you thrust yourself in the public eye. There's something missing
up in your thinking cap feller. I get wound up when people continually slag off my Club. We all
have our views and our opinions on rebranding/Malaysia/Sam... but the recurring theme for
everyone is a LOVE of Cardiff City. You dont have that. You dont understand it. You are totally
negative about the Club. Worst of all, your not even firing your own bullets, and everyone knows
it.

Tell me, when was the last time you actually attended a game..? Just for the record. My first game was against Wolves in 1986 but I didn't go home and away until 1999 but going on your theory Ive been watching City for 22 years and I know its not the case.

I speak out when I am concerned about issues going on and believe me theres been alot in recent times and if people like you want me to constantly praise the club for everything under the sun even through I don't agree with something then you got another thing coming.

In a strange way I feel sorry for you. There you are thousands of miles away and yet still think you understand everything thats been going on in recent times and you try to put others down even when they have a far better understanding of the situation then you. Some would actually say thats a form of attention seeking you know but then again maybe thats the real reason why you do Elvis on stage. ;)

I only really put you down.

Cos you are 100% negative about this Club. Nothing they do is right. Malky even made a great
signing the other day and your immediate reaction was "there goes Whitts, Malky never liked
him cos he's not a workhorse"... strange description for our second most industrious player
behind Don Cowie.

If you had any pride you'd have logged off for good by now. Remember.. your 'insider' told you,
and you told us... The Malaysians were off this summer. Erm... :?
