Coaching badges

Anyone done their coaching badges or going to do them? I want to do them when I've finished playing for U18's but I don't know what kinds of places do them.

Can anyone shed any light?

Some places in the community or local clubs used to get grants and might still do so ask a local football club or community centre near you, or if not ring your local council and get the number for the sports development worker and they should be able to help you out...
Start off at football leaders award then c,b and a liscences..Hope it helps

Yes i've done my Leaders, C and i am currently 3/4 through my B. I'd recommend you going to your local club and doing it that way as the FAW now want CRB checks for every new coach, clubs get these done for free where as if you apply yourself i think it costs £40. The leaders also cost £40 but if you make a commitment to a club then they should pay for you to do it. Hope this helps.
