I have not commented but do fall in the category that you are telling to "get a grip"
Am I happy we are signing players - yes
Am I grateful for the investment - yes
Do I accept that a change of colour and badge was a pre requisite of the above - no
Will I happily accept playing in blue at home - never
If you are unconditionally happy about the red shirt now that we have signed a player, that is up to you and you are very lucky that you are able to feel that way - But please don't try and belittle those that aren't.

haha im not telling you to be over the moon tht were changed to red, what im actually telling you is to get a grip and enjoy tht your club have signed a great player rarther than dwell on something you cant change. I literally yday saw the signing and read 2 diffrent topics, in both of them i saw many people so negative. bringing up the debate etc. what are you going to do at the start of the season , when we play, just sit there in anger and moan about the colour of our kit, or support the players playing in tht kit, giving its all for the club. Tell me this , did we lose all our history and our club when we changed from ninian park to our new stadium. was all our history at ninian forgotton after that. my answer to tht is no, i still remember ninian and what we acheived there and still talk about games there , the legacy always lives on as long as you want it to be.
no club in the country are happy with their owners really, and we never will be no matter who we get. we feel we have so much control and influence on our club when really we dont. were stakeholders not shareholders , our opinions matter but are not the be all and end all. i dont see all our fans donating money to keep us going . This man has to try and make this club profitable other wise hes just giving away his money which is something which not many of our fans would do .

At the start of the season I will of course turn up and support the team, I hope I can do it will the same paasion that I have always shown. The colour of the shirt will probably dampem my enthusiasm to some extent - but we'll see.
And I think we can change it - maybe not this year, but continued support of the club and refusal to accept the rebrand will (I think) win the day and should not cause a rift with our owners.
I don't think the comparison to NP is a fair one. We all loved NP but we needed to porgress, yes we miss the place but the reason for moving was clealy to progress (capacity, facilities etc). The same cannot be said about the shirt - It is (in my opinion) a completely needless move.
Anyway - thanks for the reasoned response![]()
