How Much Would Bellamy Cost?

I know there's been talk of Bellamy being one of the signings this year, but how much do you think it would cost to buy him and on what's sort of wages?

Probably a couple of million and i guess he would still look for wages above £30k

As Liverpool had him for nothing, knowing how they are such a wonderful club, they would let him come to us for nothing

Why Bellamy? Thought Malky was putting together a squad for the long term. Can't see him being an integral part of Malky's team ethic (seems to march to the beat of his own drum which MIGHT cause disruption in the dressing room?)

I can tell you for certain one thing as he is related to me and i was talking to him in the Robin Hood pub in poncanna a few weeks ago although he never mentioned he would be rejoining the City he did say City offered him more than Liverpool to stay here last season after his initial first year stint here.

Coming to the end of his career, quite injury prone, only a year left on his contract. I'd say £3.5 million. Maybe a little less now. I think he'd go for wages of about £30k p/w

3.5 million ?? thats a bit steep I would say around the 1 million mark but agree about the wages.

Don't agree with Bellers had is chance...he did not play in the 2nd leg at home to Reading...but agree about the rest of the players who have gone since....apart from Byewater and JLS - BOTH A WASTE OF TIME

Was thinking about the whole season. DJ and the players (and us, I suppose) seemed to think that the second automatic place was there for the taking. Doubt if we will ever have a better chance. Bellamy was in and out of the side, with his dodgy knee. Always gave 100%, but doubt if it helped, to be honest. Too much chopping and changing.

Agree with you about that 2nd place...for me when Rambo went back,Bellers started to be the main man then.

The key to that season was Rambo going back to Arsenal,after he had played 7 or more games and not being in a losing team for us.

The above 2 loan signings i posted did not help ( IMO )
