It would be great, trouble  is, punk was great at the time but never moved with the time, they went from cutting edge, to cutting room floor, progress, the new way forward.

Dave Jones is the most successful Cardiff manager most of us has ever seen.

Punk music is still around, just doesn't have to be dumbed down anymore to appeal to the masses

Gwyn, I'm getting quite fed up of you trying to goad some of us who are against the changes. You should appreciate everyone has differing feelings and emotions and respect everyones opinions, not make childish posts trying to get a reaction. I responded to one of your numerous posts trying to get us pro blues to bite telling you exactly how I feel here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=83266.

Please start respecting everyones opinions. I've said numerous times there's no right or wrong answer to this, everyone feels differently and everyones opinions should be respected as we are all Cardiff City fans wanting what we all feel is best for our club. The most important thing to me is us keeping our identity, the most important thing to you is seeing us succeed no matter how much of our identity gets taken away, so lets respect one anothers opinions and debate maturely.

Spot on Tonteg Bluebird, Gwyn has shocked/stunned me by how he has tried to belittle/take the piss out of those who feel they want to stay Blue etc. :ayatollah:

I'm completely pro-change, but I do have immense respect for those who feel as strongly as they do about losing the colour blue.

My main concern is trying to stop any animosity between fans of differing views on this whole change issue.

We both need to respect each other's feelings, as we all support the same team. :ayatollah:

So me asking what plan the protesters have is seen as belittlement, now a lo of people may be asking OK let's protest but what plan to we have and what do we hope to achieve, and that is seen as me goading or belittlement.

Am I the only one who see's that s a one sided point of view, genuine question, what is your plan B.

My plan B would be to stay as we was and struggle. As I have previously said, I would rather us fight and even die as who we are, than sell our souls to succeed as something we're not. This is how I feel but like I said, I appreciate everyone has differing feelings and emotions. Your post may not have been intended to belittle anyone on this occasion, but be honest, some of the other posts you have done have come across as trying to cause a stir to say the least. The link to one of your previous posts I highlighted within this thread is an example. It may be a harmless joke/banter to you, but those against the change such as myself are really hurting over what's gone on. Anyway, what's done is done, you may have the same enthusiasm, passion and emotional connection seeing us in red and I respect that as that's how you feel. But I will attend protests to try and stand up for what I believe in and I hope you can respect that also.

Show me the post then where I belittle anyone, I think you find in most I state that I can understand people against the change hurting, if me asking questions or answering other peoples questions with valid answers is seen as belittling then perhaps we have a different interpretation, but here is your chance, show us these posts. :?:

for me gwyn any sort of protest should firstly be peaceful and not intimidate others

secondly it should have a single aim........that being to try and keep cardiff city playing in the shirt colour they have worn since 1910

simple as that

no aggro , no we are better fans

because it may well be that the change to red IS the best way forward

personally , I dont think it is

Gwyn, you were telling us recently that you argeed with Sam that we should let the Malaysians invest enough so that they could not pull out and once this was done then we can all protest against them. This is obviously a plan B that you support so you have answered your own question. Strange. :ayatollah:

But the truth is, whatever protest we carry out, this years kit is red and the badge is that beer mat, they are registered for this season and nothing that us fans or the club itself van do will change that this season, it's to late.

The truth is though, a lot of the genuine hardcore fans think that anyone who could risk the future of our great club over the colour of a shirt, isn't a real fan at heart and must have other issues.

If we do go on to great things and become one of the big four teams in the country, do you think the media will say that massive club Cardiff City who have just won the title for the third time in five years, but who now play in red instead of blue, or will they refer t us as that successful club Cardiff City, full stop, did they ever introduce Leeds during their heyday as the club that used to play in blue, NO, did they feck.

My personal opinion is, if come the end of the year, they have not carried out their promises to us, then we protest like they wouldn't believe it, but until then, let's just give them a bit of trust, i do feel they deserve that at least.

Thats a bit different to what you said last week Gwyn. You said we should allow the Malaysians to invest sufficiently till they could no longer walk away and then protest. You said nothing about waiting till next year. :ayatollah:

i do find it funny that one minute i want whats best for Sam , then i want what's best for Alan Whiteley, then I want what's best for the Malaysians, yet i have given a huge part of my life and love to this club for 46 years and no one has suggested I may be doing it because I think its the best option for the club.
