I'll think you'll find the direct line has now got a few twist and breaks in it after recent events.

It seems the Club would prefer to deal with people who don't represent anyone eh Gwyn?

It really should be, but unfortunately I think it's the wrong vehicle and they have made their own bed in my opinion. The whole structure is so PC and so tied up in it's own rules through it's own making, they can get nothing done in any suitable time frame.
It's democracy gone mad, they wont or can't make a simple of slight decision without balloting every member, they must spend a fortune on mail costs, and if you have four members registered in one house, they still send you four separate letters!!!!
Like you at one time I was thinking of playing a more active part, but new how frustrated i would be working with those constraints. In my opinion, if someone like Tim Hartley is voted as leader, then he should be allowed to lead and if the majority think he's not leading well or in the direction of the majority, then vote him out.
It's mad, by the time they ballot and vote etc on every little point, people have moved on and forgotten what the original point was.

There was the perfect opportunity to get Trust involvement in the day to day running of the club when we nearly went bust in the lower league.
No interest at that time.
And when you guys set your Trust up, I've no doubt many mocked, even some now members of our Trust. Funny old world.

The Trust has a lot of catching up to do if it is ever to be a credible fans representative group. It totally cocked up the protest march against Ridsdale and followed that up with a number of bad calls, using its 'constitution' to hide behind its fear of being bold.
Without a doubt it suffers from very weak leadership and it needs a complete overhaul of its board members. Until they make that bold move (bold being completely against its nature) it will continue to fail as it has done since day one.

There is an opportunity for the members to change the makeup of the Trust board every year , as you well know as you stood for election yourself fairly recently and were unfortunately unsuccessful. To stand for election you would have had to agree with the purposes and constitution of it , yet since then you seem to have a grudge against it.
I wondered where this lie originated from and if it is from you Keith then the Trust should back this up or apologise, you are a board member and you know full well I never stood for any election for the Trust FACT AND TRUTH, now come clean or discredit the Trust. Total fabrication, I did think about it and several board members did ask me to stand, but i never applied and i never put myself forward, so how does that work out as me being not elected, now let's have some truth here.
And were you aware that there have been several changes in the make up of the Trust board over the last year? So its gone a long way towards the complete overhaul you refer to.

Not wishing to put petrol on the fire but a lot of the old heads, Big Sam, Macca, Ketty Mogs, Big Steve, Corky, Jinx and most of the lads I know from years ago are much like the majority and will accept the kit change because of the investment, they have seen enough bad times and struggle to want to finally see real investment coming in and making a major difference.
