sorry i cant help......i put up a topic recently about why our country still except migrants when we have more than enough people here looking for work....its shocking and people on here slated me for trying to look after our own....good luck in your search :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: Jobs

what winds me up is the fact we keep our elderly in work as long as possible therefore not creating jobs for younger people leaving education the government is a shambles  :ayatollah:

our elderly have the right to work as state pension is a joke......but why do we still allow immigration when we have more people looking for work than jobs available :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Because immigration is hugely beneficial to the United Kingdom and long may it continue. Those out of work should blame the previous Labour government, the economic recession and the deficit amongst other things, all before immigration. Even then, if an immigrant is more skilled, more reliable and more experienced than a British national then they should get the job.

Obviously there needs to be some form of controlled immigration, however it should still be allowed in order to improve the country and economy in the long-term, as it has done thus far.

We should only let the immigrants in that do jobs that we don't have enough people in the country to do. :D

The folly of youth, now think back to when you wrote this original message. Do you think you have sold yourself well?
Have you told anyone of your qualifications, your experience, what you would ideally like to do, do you drive, are you fit, are you mobile. are you good on computers.

We know nothing/

What if I did have a mate looking for employee, how would i sell you to him, "I know someone looking for a job, don't know anything about him, but he's looking"

Take offence at this post if you want to, or learn a lesson from it, there are thousands looking for jobs, you are in a battle with them for those jobs, step up, or get trampled over, simple as. :old:

His message was a simple enquiry! Jesus, if you were aware of a suitable vacancy THEN he could submit a CV/application.

Just waiting for the magical phone call now! I really want a job, I've almost given up on the Armed Forces. It's unreal! The Sargent lost my medical, I tried phoning for a bout a month, got through and another Sargent told me that the sargent i was trying to phone had finished with the Army. Then he told me he'd ring me back but still nothing!

Ah well, looks like I'm stuck in civvy street.

I worked in M&S for about a year during sixth form, I had no experience and wasn't even 18, yet they still offered me the job after two interviews. Great pay (£6.40 an hour) however the store manager was a fascist, control-freak, gargantuan bitch, work obsessed, ignorant and condescending whore so I eventually reached boiling point and handed in my resignation. It became unbearable and I no longer cared for the money.

Basically, be careful what you wish for

I Dissagree the lad mentions he is about to finish colege but says nothing about what course he is doing or any thing

Check local council web sites job pages thier are a few apprentiships on offer at the momemant also contact your local carear wales office they point you in the direction of the right companys to chase

One of the main things you need are work references from an employer If you don’t have any consider volunteer work you can still do this while claiming as long as you tell them you are doing it. This would show any employer that you stand out from the crowd as well as getting a reference

Thiers always part time work while you look for something better the main thing is if you get stuck without work dont sit at home get out and do something positive you can put on your cv

other than that you have

Fishfor jobs
cardiff jobs

I'm going to give them a ring tomorrow and the regiment I'm intending on joining is the Royal Welsh.

I can't drive unfortunately so that rules the security out.
