Only saw him over Colchester Avenue Sainsbury's not that long ago. Always seemed to be willing to glance a smile at anyone that directed one towards him. Proper cult legend. RIP Brian. :ayatollah:

Brian Hibbard RIP

Very sad news, was a schoolfriend to my dad who he knocked about with in Ebbw Vale and Cwm, he drank in my first local The Greyhound on Beaufort Rise in Ebbw Vale, he always spoke to me after I told him who my dad was, he was a gentleman to this very loud and spotty teenager back in the eighties and i was very proud to had made my first famous friend!!!!!

Ironically, when I moved to Roath from Ebbw, used to see him wandering around Pen-y-Lan where I think he later moved to.

Twin Town, of course was his finest hour, even beating the Flying Pickets no 1 single on which he sang lead vocals.

RIP Bri

Was my dads mate in school, (Ebbw Vale/Cwm) they used to go to each others houses to knock about together. My local in Ebbw was The Greyhound which was Brians too, soon as I told him who my dad was, he was an absolute gentleman to me, even though I was a right loud drunken clown :ayatollah: A very nice fella, always happy to chat about any old thing. Was the first famous person I ever spoke too!!!!!!!!

RIP Bri, very sad news
