SONE ALUKO

Just what we need, in my opinion.

Tricky winger currently at Rangers. Managed to get 12 goals in 21 games last season, and could be available on the cheap with The Gers edging towards liquidation. Charlton are apparently interested, but surely it's worth putting in a cheeky bid?

Somen Tchoyi is another one, and also available on a free transfer.

Thoughts?

On't think Aluko is good enough to be honest. No interest in defending, drifts in and out of games and final ball often poor.

His sister is not bad either, we could sign her up to play on the other wing.

Ptb just out of curiosity do you have the opportunity to speak to many Rangers supporters and if so do you think they would have swapped the situation we find at our club (rebranding etc) to save their club? Or are you just too embarresed to discuss it in case they have not heard about it North of the Border?

I know quite a few and I honestly believe the majority would rather see the club reborn in a different light than be dictated to by a businessman again. The pleasing thing for me is that many acknowledge the wrong doings by those in charge and would gladly take restarting at the bottom, if an application proved succesful. Sadly, I don't think sporting integrity will be put before cash and the other SPL clubs will kill off a great chance for Scottish football to be reformed. I really hope they prove me wrong.

SO if Rangers are voted out of the Premier League what do you see for the future of Scottish football as many believe that it as always been a two horse race and the rest are also rans. What I am really asking is this the Death throes for Scottish league football?

I think it can be a fresh start. As it is, the Old Firm rule the roost in all aspects. Change would allow reform, it would allow changes to the voting at the SPL which currently allows for the big two to get what they want. The newco at worst will be back in the top flight in 3-4 seasons if they maintain the current backing. They would also put a bit of life back into clubs at the lower level. I think Celtic would be reeled back in a bit and I truly believe they have more to lose than any other club without Rangers at the top of the Scottish game for a period.

From what I've seen of him (not much), he looks decent, besides we've had luck of buying players from Scotland. :D

I watched him fairly regularly at Aberdeen, too inconsistent. Was always going to do better at a side who wins 95% of games and has teams constantly on the back foot.
