Dave Jones to return to Cardiff...

I will give him a good response. I think that any stick he gets on here in unjust.
Over all I think he was a good manager for us, took us to a cup final and nearly to the prem.
However having said that I also firmly believe that he took us as far as he could and it was time for him to go last year

he knew how to sell the club to players thats for sure

The man was with us for 6 years. He changed the club and brought in some fantastic players. A better manager than Malky overall as far as i'm concerned. As a man who has followed the Bluebirds for 64 years I will always remember the Jones years. (It's the only years the plastic army CAN f*cking appreciate).

He had to go though, his time was up and he took us as far as he could. The stick he gets on here is pathetic especially when you consider Malky is getting praised to the hilt. I may decide to go to this game just to give him a warm response. I am also taking a stand.

I wonder if he will do the after match press conference as there will be no way he can ban MediaWales

For me he greatest success was getting us to that playoff final which given the transfer enbargo, the golden ticket scam and winding up orders left., right and centre was amazing. Sadly our inability to sign players caught up with us during that playoff final, not DJ fault as for me the real damage was done by SH, Langston and Ridsdale.

I did not like him at all, he was arrogant and didn't care much about the fans but he's a superb manager and will be back in the premiership one day. Like I said, if there was ever a time to sack him it was after the play off defeat to Reading. Both parties knew it was time to move on.

Anyone who boos him is booing one of the most successful managers we have had in recent decades (A fact which ever way you look at it).

Yeah, pay the agent and player far more than they are worth. He won some but lost more.

I'll give him a good welcome. He transformed us from a championship relegation team to a side that was fit for the Prem at one point. Even if he is a bottler.

Just remember, he brought Whitts, Jay, Chops, Bellers, Hudson, Marshall, McNaughton, Loovens, and Jimmy Floyd to the City. Although he did bring in some trile, JET, JLS, Parkin, Etuhu, Fowler...
