Regan at the Karate Championships

Today Regan took part at the Welsh Championships in Merthyr. He got through several rounds at Kata and was only one place off a bronze Medal.
On the fighting he took on a lad and lost 2 points to 1. This kid was awesome and Regan was the only person to take a point off him through the whole day, and this kid one the gold. He also filled in at team fighting and beat one of the top adults in the process and that showed how good this other kid was. Regan gave him a hell of a fight and i have put it on you tube link below. Regan has the black hair and when a point is scored the judge signals the point by a downward movement with his arm to the fighter that has won that point.

out loud at that Gwyn. It was a shame they met in the first round as it would of made a cracking final. The Kid Ginger fought in the next round he knocked him out cold with his first punch. He was out before he hit the floor and they had to put him in the recovery position. That was a bit scary. But looking at the rest i was sure Regan would of beaten them.But i am proud the way Regan fought that's for sure and he is still learning.

Who's the top karate expert from wales then nukes? I've heard of lee costa and howard colins, think there like 5th or 6th dan blackbelts or something like that. Is there any 10th dan blackbelts from wales? 10th dan is the highest you can achieve yeah? By the way, well done to your lad nukes! Sounds like he done himself and his parents proud

And an answer to the question above i think the highest is 6th dan. Regans Sensei is 5th Dan and Wales coach.

Not sure mate ,bit before my time the 70's . I trained with Mike from late 80's till mid 90's
