is Red Lucky?

Sat Jun 16, 2012 2:46 pm

City will be one of many teams playing in red this season. Red may be lucky in the Far East but not in the Uk. Last season, of the teams playing in all red Boro came 7th, Forest, Bristol City and Barnsley finished 19th/20th & 21st! Of the teams playing in red and White Southampton got promoted and Doncaster relegated. Time will tell if red is lucky in Wales.

Surely even you know that luck isn't an actual thing.

It's just something people have made up. There is no such thing as luck.

And that as many of the clubs in the top league in China itself(where this "lucky red" thing is claimed to be so strong)have blue as their team colours as have red (plus 2 blue away kits and no red).

And the most successful team (8 times champions) in the Chinese Super League play in blue.

So no suggestion that playing in blue is a barrier to attracting Chinese investment in their own country - many of the teams are funded by major businesses in the regions in which they operate.
